Friday, March 15, 5-6pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Join the ACLU of Ohio Action Team, Cleveland Votes, Policy Matters Ohio, Racial Equity Buddies of Cleveland, the Working Families Party of Ohio, and the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition for a virtual cocktail hour to discuss civic engagement and the power of progressive prosecution in Cuyahoga County.

Prosecutors play a significant role in the criminal legal system. They have the power to decide whether to prosecute, what charges to file, make bail recommendations, and negotiate sentences. They can be instrumental in the movement to end mass incarceration and ensure public safety by limiting the harms of policing and detention.

Take a break, grab a drink, and join us as we reflect on the grassroots history of the current prosecutor seat and brainstorm a vision for progressive leadership supporting bail reform, juvenile justice, and death penalty repeal.
