Powerful institutions and political leaders are working to rigging the system and erecting racist obstacles to voting and full participation in American life. We know that voter suppression is a sin. Silence is complicity.
Join the conversation as we discuss how Catholics can act to protect democracy and voting rights.
The conversation will include John Gehring, Catholic Program Director at Faith in Public Life, who will be moderating; Joan Neal, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Equity Officer at NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice; Jeanné Lewis, interim CEO at Faith in Public Life; José-Arnulfo Cabrera, Co-Executive Director of Programs and Policy at the Young Latino Network; Milton Javier Bravo, Vice President for Mission, Values and Inclusion at Edgewood College; and Sister Bridget Bearss, Associate Director for Transformative Justice, Leadership Conference of Women Religious.
This event will be occurring via “Facebook Live.”
