Saturday, April 10, several different times and locations across Ohio
In an effort to bring press and statewide attention to the four anti-protest bills sitting at the Ohio Statehouse (H.B. 22, H.B. 109, S.B. 16, and S.B. 44), UUJO: Unitarian Universalist Justice Ohio and the Our Voices Together Coalition are organizing a statewide protest action.
We are organizing a statewide action on April 10 to put our voices together and oppose the pile of anti-protest bills that have been proposed in 2021. We are looking for organizers, volunteers, and other helpers across the state to pitch in on this effort.
We have Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, southeast Ohio (near Wheeling), and Chillicothe involved. We need more! If you are interested in organizing or know someone who is, please fill out the below sign-up form.
Below is a listing of cities with legislators who are on the committees. We’d love to see events in these areas:
• Pickerington
• Erie County
• Medina County
• Cincinnati
• Toledo
Events will be organized locally, preferably around 12noon, but that’s up to the group. Actions are up to the local group. We suggest car caravans or “honk and waves.” The goal is to demonstrate what will be a felony charge and a higher fine under the new bills. Also, we are highlighting S.B. 33 (Critical Infrastructure) that will be going into law on April 12.
Please fill out the below sign-up form to join this event.
