Join Ohio Clinicians for Climate Action and The Ohio Environmental Council for an interactive workshop focused on community mapmaking integral to the redistricting advocacy process! It’s time to create fair maps, so we can create equitable environmental policy that results in positive health outcomes for all who call Ohio home.

The 2021 redistricting process in Ohio will require robust public engagement, and we need “all hands on deck” to build a powerful narrative for fair maps. Medical professionals have a profoundly unique perspective on the needs and assets of their communities. Our community mapmaking workshop will equip you with the tools you need to describe your community and submit your map to academics ready to synthesize narratives from across Ohio.

Ohioans voted on new redistricting processes in 2015 and 2018, and now it’s time to use those processes to create fair maps. We hope that you will be able to join us for this initial step in advocating for fair districts for Ohio.
