The RHS [Regional Housing Strategy] Speaker Series will bring together leaders from across the country to shine a light on the challenges facing our communities.

About this Event

Housing is a basic — and increasingly unattainable — human need. What are the issues underlying the nation’s housing crisis and how do we address them? The Regional Housing Strategy Speaker Series will bring together thought leaders from across the country, to shine a light on the challenges facing our communities, with a focus on innovative solutions.

Session II: In the Zone: Local Regulations for 21st-Century Communities

With housing costs on the rise, more households are priced out of the market every day. While innovative design solutions can help bring costs down, they can also be held back by rigid zoning regulations. Learn how cities are responding with updated zoning codes designed to accommodate their communities’ changing needs and preferences.
