ReImagine Appalachia is excited to announce the second annual Reimagine Shuttered Coal Plants Summit!

Wednesday, October 16, 12noon-3:30pm, via Zoom, we will host two panels featuring guest speakers from the U.S. Department of Energy, The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Southeastern Ohio Port Authority, and more as they discuss coal plant redevelopment opportunities and federal investment incentives!

Appalachia’s existing coal infrastructure gives the region a unique advantage in developing a more sustainable manufacturing economy. Our guest speakers will provide in-depth insight into the steps we need to take and the available federal and state resources that will allow us to use that advantage for maximum impact!
