Saturday, April 10, 7pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Come join us for a virtual concert held by Annie Patterson and Peter Blood, where we will seek to “repair the breaches” — from the ravages of the virus, racism, fear, and the many breaches that divide us from each other — within our nation, our city, and our families.

This concert is a fundraiser for The Poor People’s Campaign in Ohio. Leaders of The Ohio Poor People’s Campaign will be invited to share about the important work that they are doing “to help make justice roll down like a mighty stream” in Ohio and around the country.

This will be a singalong concert led by Annie Patterson and Peter Blood, the creators of the best-selling songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again.

Rise Up Singing is the best, most exhilarating and glorious history of the United States: a singing history. It is more than a lovely songbook — it is a play-work-fight-freedom hymnal.” — Studs Terkel, author of Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do [published in 1974].

Buy a ticket here for the amount you can afford and feel is right for you to give. You will e-mailed a Zoom link for the concert and a song sheet that you can sing along with us from home.

Hosted by Ohio Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival.
