Saturday, October 16, 1-4pm, Hilliard Food Pantry, 4410 Cemetery Rd., Hilliard, Ohio

Your Franklin County Auditor’s office is proud to partner with the Hilliard Food Pantry and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO), with support from the Hilliard Kiwanis Club and the Rotary Club of Hilliard, to bring shredding and electronic waste recycling services to the residents of Franklin County.

Community members may bring their unwanted documents and electronics [please review the below list] to the Hilliard Food Pantry on Saturday, October 16, 1-4pm, to have them collected and recycled in a safe, secure, and environmentally-friendly way.

Participants are encouraged to also bring nonperishable food and household items for donation to the Hilliard Food Pantry. In particular, the Pantry is currently in need of the following items:

• Soup

• Oatmeal

• Cereal

• Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, spices)

• Toothpaste

• Shampoo

• Conditioner

• Deodorant

• Diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6)

• Laundry detergent

Please take note of the accepted and non-accepted electronic materials that may be recycled through this event.

Accepted materials: computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, cellphones, MP3 players, printers, copiers, printer cartridges, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, LCD TVs, cameras, batteries of any kind, cables, hard drives, keyboards, and mice.

Notaccepted materials: household appliances (e.g., blenders, microwaves, ovens, refrigerators, toasters), vacuum cleaners, lamps, or lightbulbs of any kind. [We will not be able to accept these materials at this event.]
