Join Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) and the Delaware-Maryland Synod ELCA on Thursday, June 2 at 7:30pm for “Stand Up, Speak Up: An Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Ukraine.” Featuring speakers from diverse backgrounds and faith traditions, testimonies from local Ukrainians, and advocacy opportunities, the vigil offers an opportunity for all to gather together and demonstrate support for our Ukrainian neighbors.

The Vigil is a part of LIRS’ annual “Stand Up, Speak Up” program, which brings together interfaith communities across the country to lift a unified voice to welcome and advocate for immigrants and refugees coming to the United States. We invite you to stand up for welcome and speak up alongside our newest neighbors.
