Wednesday, June 1, 9am, Ohio Statehouse [Rm. 121]

Join us at the Ohio Statehouse on Wednesday, June 1 for the first opponent hearing of H.B. 454 to oppose banning gender-affirming care for trans youth.

This hearing will feature Ohio experts of gender-affirming care, including local doctors and therapists. TransOhio is thrilled that the record can finally be set straight after three hearings of proponent testimony filled with misinformation, false narratives, negative stereotypes, and blatant transphobia. It’s important now to show the committee members that Ohioans love and support our trans kids.

The hearing will take place in Rm. 121 at the Statehouse beginning at 9am. Please give yourself time go through security and find the hearing room; we recommend trying to arrive at the Statehouse by 8:30am.
