Friday, November 18, 3pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Resolving harm and conflict within the organizing community is imperative to the work towards freedom and liberation. Learning various healthy practices to resolve harm and work through accountability help us be a stronger ecosystem.

This free, interactive workshop will explore intersections of restorative and transformative justice through experience-based practices. There will be moments for visioning, breathwork, and a virtual circle process. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions and share reflections.

Come ready to learn, share, heal, and grow together. Captions will be available for inclusivity.

Our facilitator will be Jodie Geddes (she/they), a dynamic advocate for racial justice with Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth.

Biography for Jodie Geddes

Jodie Geddes is an international speaker on restorative justice, author, and advocate for racial healing and justice. Jodie currently serves as the Healing Services Manager at RJOY (Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth), supporting the design and implementation of over five weekly healing circles exploring restorative justice and mental wellness. She is also Co-Manager for CTTT (Coming to The Table), providing training and resources for communities to explore the history and legacy of enslavement.
