The Ohio River Valley is rich with natural resources and infrastructure. Because of this, it is prime territory for the petrochemical industry that produces plastics and other industries that want to profit off the land and people that live there. It is all connected. We must expose the false narratives surrounding these industries. “Blue hydrogen” and “carbon capture” technologies are false climate solutions. This is not unique to the Ohio River Valley; this industry will be spreading across the country and the world. Join Tackling the A-Z Impacts of Plastic for a discussion of the hydrogen and carbon capture “hubs” proposed for construction in the Ohio River Valley and the threats they pose to your pocketbook, your community, and the regional economy.
