Tuesday, April 23, 6:30-8:30pm, Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave.

Edith needs you for this crucial, full-court press to get her out of Sanctuary. Our only path to victory is through the power of this community to show up and make the impossible possible. Please join us on April 23, 6:30-8:30pm, at Columbus Mennonite Church. This is an “all-hands-on-deck” meeting for the Columbus social justice community.

We know how hard the past month has been for our community; but we also need a win. If Edith is deported, she will never be able to come back to the U.S. — and we cannot let that happen. With a diverse coalition of support from churches, labor, local and state advocacy groups, and all of you, we are now pushing our elected officials with a very direct ask: use your power to give Edith a path to status through a private bill. We have a clear plan to reach out to elected officials, to provide them with support to do the right thing, and to push them as hard as we need to until Edith is home.

Please come to learn exactly how you can get involved, to learn the strategy, and push for victory. It’s extremely important that we stay on message and on target so that we will be able to speak as one community.

Hosted by Solidarity with Edith Espinal and Central Ohio Worker Center / Centro de Trabajadores de Central Ohio.
