The second annual Art for Franklinton Auction will be held on March 19th, 2016 at Strongwater Food and Spirits [in the Event Space].

This fundraiser will auction murals that were painted live and in person by some of our most creative local artists during Urban Scrawl, an annual two-day festival hosted by the Franklinton Arts District. Proceeds will benefit the George Bellows Grant Program, a coordinated effort to increase access and exposure to arts and culture for the residents of the emerging arts hub of Franklinton. The Art for Franklinton Auction/Fundraiser features both a silent and live auction of the dynamic 8'x4' panel murals, music, and food.

The Franklinton Arts District has fostered a vibrant arts atmosphere in this historic Columbus community since 2006 by providing bold and innovative opportunities to artists and art enthusiasts through specialized programming, festivals, and exhibitions, and by connecting residents, businesses, and local organizations to promote energetic collaboration in the arts.
