Saturday, May 4, 10am-4pm, Parsons Ave. [between E. Whittier St. and E. Deshler Ave.]

Avenue for All is a festival championing the vision that Parsons Ave., and indeed the South Side, are a place for everyone, no matter our age, political affiliation, race, religion, or economic background. While historically Parsons Avenue has been a dividing line, it has the opportunity to be a gathering space for the whole community. We invite the community to experience the beauty and power of the South Side’s rich history and diversity and be a part of creating an Avenue for All!

Avenue for All will be held on May 4, starting with a neighborhood bike ride at 9am, and the full festivities running from 10am until 4pm.

For what is believed to be the first time in the city’s history, Parsons Ave. will close between E. Whittier St. and E. Deshler Ave. for an event that will include live entertainment, a children’s activity area, a health pavilion, and a visual arts area.

Hosted by Church and Community Development For All People.
