Saturday, July 13, 2-10pm; and Sunday, July 14, 2-10pm; Columbus Performing Arts Center [Shedd Theatre], 549 Franklin Ave.

Greetings from the Board Members of the seventh annual Columbus Black Theatre Festival.

We’re hosting the “Theatre Party” of the year in Columbus, Ohio! What can you expect at this annual theatre event? It runs July 12, 13 and 14. Acting and Directing Workshops for Youth and Adults, Stage Readings, and Full Stage productions will be held at the Shedd Theatre, 549 Franklin Ave.

If you are a Black playwright, a minority playwright, or your play is about situations that involve minorities, then we are waiting to help you bring that play “to life” on a live stage theatre platform. We sponsor this event by paying for the stage, the light and sound tech (if needed), and by promoting your play to encourage theatre lovers to come and support your creatively and to help you see your characters come to life from the pages of your script.

The schedule of performances is available at this link.

Sponsored by Mine 4 God Productions LLC.
