We hope you can join us for the 2024 Chapter Convention on Saturday, April 27, 11am-2pm, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 96 S. Grant Ave., Rm. 2-B. For those unable to join us in-person, a virtual attendance option will be made available. For those attending in-person, as with our general meetings, food and childcare will be available, and masks will be provided and required.

Convention is the highest decision-making body of our organization. It is the time where we set our agenda and select our leadership for the coming year. It also affords our members the opportunity to make positive changes to the fundamental makeup of our organization by deliberating on resolutions, as well as amendments to our Bylaws.

As a democratic, member-led organization, Columbus DSA is what its members decide it is, does what its members decide it does, and moves at the speed of its members. This is your organization, to do with as you see fit. Ideally, that entails winning the world.

It is our sincere hope and aspiration that you will mold this organization into exactly what it needs to be in order to advance democratic socialism and, in due time, alongside its counterparts across the nation and world, establish a free and just socialist republic. May we bring to birth the new world from the ashes of the old.
