Wednesday, March 8, 12noon-1pm, Grange Insurance Audubon Center, 505 W. Whittier St.; this event will also be live-streamed on YouTube

Founded in 2018 as a co-working and entrepreneurial incubation space for women of color, Columbus-based Zora’s House recently announced a massive $5M expansion that will see the facility in Weinland Park grow to more than 10,000 square feet. The new space will expand on the non-profit’s mission to help inspire women of color to start, nurture, and grow their own businesses. Named for author Zora Neale Hurston, Zora’s House contains offices, meeting rooms, a library, and a coffee shop is planned for the new facility.

Join the Columbus Metropolitan Club along with Zora’s House Founder and CEO LC Johnson, Danielle Sydnor, CEO, Rise Together, and host Alison Marker, President and CEO, Marker, Inc., for a look into this pathfinding effort in Columbus to increase social equity and generate entrepreneurial success.

We will be temporarily holding our weekly forums at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, (which has free on-site parking), and serving box lunches. This change in venue is due to remodeling at the Boat House due to water damage from a ruptured sprinkler head during the holiday cold snap.
