Monday, February 17, 6-8:30pm, Columbus Metropolitan Library [Main Branch], 96 S. Grant Ave.
America’s “original sin” has left an indelible imprint on our nation’s soul. For many, the wound has never healed. Some demand that we no longer speak of it, while others — who live with its enduring impact — continually fight in hopes that America will finally have the conversation that it has refused to have for over 400 years.
Join the Columbus African Council and other community partners for an important conversation on the impact of slavery and how, as individuals and community leaders, we can set a course for a more prosperous future throughout the African Diaspora in Columbus.
Admission is free but tickets should be ordered at this link.
Hosted by Columbus African Council.
