Saturday, September 13, 12noon-2pm, Columbus Metropolitan Library [Parsons Branch], 1113 Parsons Ave. [this event will also be occurring via Zoom]
This month, Dale Gnidovec, who is the emeritus curator of the Orton Museum of Geology at The Ohio State University, will present “A Long Time Ago and Far Away: The Geologic History of Ohio.” From tropical seas and steamy swamps to glaciers a mile high, the land we call Ohio has seen many changes during the last 500 million years. Dale is always a fascinating, engaging, well-informed, fun, and energetic speaker. Come and learn why Ohio looks as it does today. This will be a wonderful educational program! We hope to see you there.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward, our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online.
