Thursday, May 28, 6:30-7:30pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Inhale/Exhale is a free program for restorative healing for activists and organizers in the progressive, left and radical movement. We all need space to reground and heal from our trauma to sustain ourselves and the work. Join Luz Emma Cañas Madrigal, a Black Queer healer from Cleveland, as they lead us through a series of healing practices.

Check out luzemma.com for more information on our amazing healer!

In this one-hour workshop, Luz will provide organizers instruction in Rhythm and Breath Yoga. Rhythm and Breath uses Kundalini asanas (yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Mantra (use of sound to alter thought patterns and brain chemistry), Mudra (hand positions to channel energy flow), and Meditation (quieting the mind to promote mental clarity and self-awareness) to break through blockages in the chakra system (energy vortices along the spine). Regular practice alters one’s life condition and heals lifetimes of karma leading to a more fulfilled, integrated, and prosperous life. It is said that one year of Kundalini Yoga is equivalent to eight years of Hatha Yoga.

These vital yogic tools will help organizers to keep boots grounded and spirits elevated. By learning to heal your physical, spiritual and emotional bodies, participants will improve health, increase intuition, and clear the path for what you desire to find its way to you even during a global pandemic.

Tickets for this event will be by Eventbrite.

Hosted by Ohio Voice and The People’s Mansion.
