Sunday, September 12, 2:20pm, 51 S. Douglass St. [the former Douglass Alternative Elementary School]

The JazzPoetry Ensemble returns to the stage for the first time in a year-and-a-half on Sunday, September 12, at 2:20pm, at the Hot Times Festival. This will also be their return to the Hot Times stage from a three-year hiatus after having appeared there for 31 years straight.

“It’s fitting for us to come back from the pandemic at Hot Times. This festival has supported us from the beginning. We have had many memorable moments there. We expect this year’s performance to provide more of them,” says founder Michael Vander Does, who writes and performs the poetry and plays trombone in the Ensemble.

This program will be available for live streaming on YouTube.
