Wednesday, February 5, 5:30-7:30pm, Lineage Brewing, 2971 N. High St.

Are you committed to protecting the climate, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the beautiful natural scenery of the Mid-Ohio Valley, and the habitat that a great many species, including the endangered Indiana bat, rely on? Now is a great time to get involved with Keep Wayne Wild and help us plan for 2020!

Join us at Lineage Brewing for happy hour on February 5 to learn about comment periods and volunteer opportunities, share your thoughts on what we’re thinking about doing in 2020, and meet other forest advocates from the community! We’ll have free bumper stickers for those who attend! We’ll also have T-shirts for sale (sliding scale $15-$25), and information that you can take with you about how to submit comments for the Wayne National Forest Land Management Plan Revision and to object to the Sunny Oaks clear-cut project!

You can sign up to help with tabling at festivals, social media, research, event planning, observing and documenting wildlife, leading a hike, and more. There are lots of ways to get involved for folks with different interests and skill sets.

We hope to see you on February 5!

If you can’t make it but would like to volunteer, email us at keepwaynewild@gmail.com!

Stay tuned for updates about meetings in Athens and Marietta!

Hosted by Keep Wayne Wild.
