Monday, February 27, 6-7pm, Whole Foods Market [Easton], 4100 Easton Gateway Dr.
Interested in vegan activism? Want to learn more about the multitude of effective activism opportunities through the Columbus Veg Community (CVC)? Do you feel shy or apprehensive about doing grassroots activism and want to talk about what goes into it before hitting the streets? Then this meetup is for you!
Come join seasoned activists from the Columbus Veg Community (CVC) and learn more about the CVC’s approach to activism, tips for new activists, and upcoming opportunities to help animals. Activism opportunities that will be discussed include: leafletting, Paid-Per-Views, documentary screenings, peaceful demonstrations, food sampling on OSU’s campus, community meals for those in need, marches, restaurant card initiative, and even the upcoming Ohio VegFest!
Whole Foods will have their “Meatless Monday” deal during this time! So come fill your plate up with meatless options from the hot bar and salad bar for only $8; we hope to see you for a laid back meal with conversation about effective grassroots activism on Monday February 27 at 6pm!
The Columbus Veg Community, Inc. (CVC) is a local 501(c)(3) animal protection non-profit run by ethical vegan activists. Learn more about what they’ve been up to in the community here.
