Sunday, May 5, 11:30am-1:30pm, Woodside Green Park, 213 Camrose Ct., Gahanna, Ohio

Join us for an afternoon of family fun! LGBTQ parents and their kids, parents-to-be, families with kids who identify, and allies — all are welcome for a celebration of International Family Equality Day. Family Pride Network [FPN] will provide the main dish, paper products and utensils, and water — just bring a side dish or dessert to share.

This secluded park has a shelter, a catch-and-release fishing pond, two playgrounds, a ball field, basketball courts, and hiking trails. Activities include a magician, a face-painter, a balloon artist, and a drag story time. Teen activities will be hosted by COLAGE (a national organization that the supports kids of LGBTQ parents) and Kaleidoscope Youth Center.

This event is a collaboration of community partners that include PFLAG Columbus, TransOhio, Kaleidoscope Youth Center, Black Out and Proud, GLSEN, and ACPA (Arts and College Preparatory Academy) and is sponsored in part by PRIZM Magazine.

Hosted by Family Pride Network of Central Ohio, PFLAG Columbus, GLSEN Columbus [formerly called Gay and Lesbian Independent School Teachers Network], and TransOhio.
