Thursday, November 5, 6:30-8pm, Northwood-High Building, 2231 N. High St., Rm. 100

Most of our money is being put to work in the global financial and investment markets. This workshop will demonstrate how to shift your CD or your Money Market account to investment in central Ohio’s local food and retail economies. Learn about local investment opportunities available now from ECDI (Economic and Community Development Institute), Slow Money Ohio, Kiva Zip!, Social Entrepreneurs Fund, and the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association. Representatives and literature from these resources will be available; there will time for questions and answers.

This workshop is offered by Simply Living Sustainable University and is hosted by Simply Living’s Transition Hub.

Cost: $15 ($10 for Simply Living members)

Free parking is available in the “R” spaces — “R” for “Rardin Clinic” — behind the building.
