Join us at The Statehouse to send a message to state legislators to end the OVEC [Ohio Valley Electric Corporation] coal plant bailouts from H.B. 6!

We will line the street holding signs and banners in support of the bailout repeal bills S.B. 117 and H.B. 351. Holiday-themed clothing and signs are encouraged! We will have extra signs for those who need them.

5. The 1950s plants are severely outdated, and one is in Indiana!

4. Since 2020 alone, they’ve spewed 26,000,000 pounds of carbon dioxide into a warming atmosphere.

4. Both poorly-managed plants have lost money for years, and will be even less competitive as renewable energy costs continue to fall.
