We won’t go back on abortion access in Ohio! Rally at the Ohio Statehouse on Tuesday, December 4, at 12noon, to show state lawmakers and Gov. Kasich that there are no acceptable abortion bans or restrictions.

With the Ohio House’s vote to pass a six-week abortion ban, we need to clearly communicate to the Ohio Senate that progress on this bill should stop immediately.

In addition to the six-week ban, several other severe restrictions on abortion are in committees and could be brought up for votes. All abortion-related bills in the Ohio House and Senate are unconstitutional and unacceptable.

Once a woman has made the decision to end a pregnancy, she needs access to safe, legal abortion care in her community. This bill would effectively outlaw abortion and criminalize physicians. Over 20,000 people choose to have an abortion in Ohio each year, and 7 in 10 Americans support legal access to abortion care. Banning women from getting a medical procedure is dangerous and out of touch with Ohio values.
