This rally in Columbus will join nationwide protests against Trump’s “Climate Denial Cabinet” and will call on U.S. Senator Rob Portman to vote against Trump’s “fossil fuel industry” appointees; in addition, this rally will recognize and address other justice and economic issues in Ohio.

On Monday, January 9, people in Columbus will join a nationwide day of action to urge Senator Portman to refuse to confirm President-elect Trump’s “Climate Denial Cabinet.” A rally will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 E. Broad St., to urge Senator Portman to stand against climate denial and hate, and to stand with science and our communities. The rally will be followed by a short march to Senator Portman’s office, 37 W. Broad St., Ste. 300, at 11:45am; the protest will conclude at 12:15pm.
