Wednesday, May 15, beginning at 5:30pm, Columbus City Hall, 90 W. Broad St.
With this annual ride, a short, slow and silent processional through downtown Columbus, hundreds of Central Ohio cyclists join an international movement to honor cyclists killed or injured while riding on public roadways and raise awareness that cyclists have a legal right to the road. This ride is a short, slow and silent funeral-style processional that attracts hundreds of cyclists from all corners of our community.
We will gather, 5:30-6:30pm, at the steps of Columbus City Hall to prepare for the ride. A brief presentation will begin at approximately 6:30pm. At 7pm, the Ride of Silence will begin. Following the ride, we will be rolling up High St. to North High Brewing, 1288 N. High St., where 20% of all sales for the night will be donated to Yay Bikes!.
