Saturday, September 8, beginning at 11am, Ohio Statehouse

On September 8, join hundreds of Central Ohio citizens who will rise alongside people in cities around the world to demand that our local leaders commit to building a world that works for all of us.

Join us as we support local efforts to push Columbus to commit to 100% renewable energy, climate, economic, and social justice; and demand that they “walk the talk” on climate action.

We will gather at the William McKinley Memorial on the grounds of the Ohio Statehouse along S. High St. at 11am. We will rally there with faith leaders, union members, and climate champions.

We will then march down W. Broad St. to U.S. Senator Rob Portman’s office, 37 W. Broad St., for a brief demonstration; photographs will be taken that will be delivered, later, to the Senator.

Finally, we will march on to the Columbus City Hall Plaza, 90 W. Broad St., where we will sing and demand that the City rise to meet our climate challenge for a future that is based on justice, living wages, and freedom from dependence on fossil fuels.

Hosted by Ready for 100 Columbus and 11 other organizations.
