Nick, Rubén’s partner, and Rubén’s four children, Rita, Ruben, Naomi, and Marisa, extend an invitation to join them in honoring the life of Rubén Castilla Herrera.

• [Friday, April 12, 6pm, First English Lutheran Church, 1015 E. Broad St.] We will be holding space with Miriam Vargas to honor Rubén and provide support.

• [Saturday, April 13, 3pm, Broad St. United Methodist church, 501 E. Broad St.] This funeral service is open to all who want to join us in celebrating Rubén. For those who are able, we will meet on the steps of Statehouse at 1:30pm and march to the church.

• [Sunday, April 14, 7pm, Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave.] We will be holding space with Edith Espinal to honor Rubén and provide support.
