Monday, September 7, 10am-12noon, various locations within Upper Arlington

It was with great sadness that the City’s Cultural Arts Division announced the cancellation of the 2020 Labor Day Arts Festival as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As difficult as this decision was, the health of the community, festival attendees, artists, and staff come first.

While recognizing that the Labor Day event is a much-loved Upper Arlington tradition, art and culture is much more than just a one-day festival. As a result, the Cultural Arts Division and members of the Cultural Arts Commission are excited to present a variety of alternate ways to still celebrate art and artists in our community — including all the artists that planned to exhibit at this year’s festival. Join us as we celebrate an alternative Labor Day Arts Festival, with events and activities for everyone in the community to enjoy.

We are fortunate that so many talented artists call Upper Arlington home. As part of altLDAF, join us in a Tour des Arts and enjoy first-hand local UA artists as they place, create and perform art in their yards or on their front porches. Participation is simple, all you need to do is drive, bike, or walk to each location listed on the Google Map on the City of Upper Arlington’s website.

Hosted by Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival, City of Upper Arlington Parks and Recreation Department, and The City of Upper Arlington.
