Saturday, July 8, 6:30-10pm, Livingston Park [near Nationwide Children’s Hospital], 760 E. Livingston Ave.

The U.S. Senate will soon vote on a health care repeal bill that would devastate Medicaid, children, rural Ohio hospitals, and people living with mental illness and addiction.

U.S. Senator Rob Portman has said that he wants to protect “the most vulnerable in our society.” If he votes for the AHCA/BCRA, he will put vulnerable Ohioans at risk.

Statewide vigils will be held outside of Children’s Hospitals throughout Ohio while U.S. Senator Portman is home during Recess Week.

Let’s put a spotlight on those who need the most protection and would be deeply affected if Senator Portman were to vote to cut Medicaid and allow this dangerous “healthcare” bill to pass.

Join us on Saturday, July 8, 6:30-10pm, at Livingston Park, 732 E. Livingston Ave. [near Nationwide Children’s Hospital], to hold a vigil in support of the vulnerable children who are at risk of losing health care. We will be praying at 8:30 p.m.

We ask all attendees to be sensitive to the needs and feelings of the hospital’s patients and their families. Please wear a solid-color red or blue shirt to present a unified appearance as we stand together to #ProtectTheVulnerable.
