Tuesday, February 23, 6:30pm, this event will be occurring via Zoom

Thanks to all who were part of the important work in voter engagement during the 2020 election season. While there were some disappointments with the Ohio vote, we know that our work brought about some very positive impacts at the state and local level.

And we have more local elections coming up in 2021. (Yes, elections happen every year!) So we are coming back together on February 23 to discuss how we can positively impact our local elections in 2021 and use our 2020 skills and knowledge now to build up the population of committed voters for 2022.

Please join us at a UU The VOTE / NOVOC [Nonpartisan Ohio Voter Outreach Committee] / Ohio Voter Rights Coalition Registration Team Meeting.

In 2021, we want to:

• Continue with registration efforts for those new to our state and young adults who have come of age

• Inform all voters on new voting procedures that come out of the Ohio Legislature and the Attorney General’s office

• Plan for how we will begin to engage potential voters face-to-face again as soon as the pandemic vaccination situation allows

Chairs for the 2021 Registration Team will be Elizabeth Grieser (League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus) and Rev. Joan VanBecelaere (UUJO); we will be assisted again for a few hours each month by Kristen Beireis from UU The Vote.

Please use this Zoom link to join this event.

We hope to see all of you on February 23.

Hosted by UUJO: Unitarian Universalist Justice Ohio.
