Monday, March 2, 7-9pm, Drexel Theatre, 2254 E. Main St.
Join members of Bexley’s Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee in a free screening of WASTED! The Story of Food Waste. Following the film, a panel discussion will be held with representatives from Giant Eagle, Kroger, the Central Ohio Food Waste Initiative, Food Rescue US, Bexley resident and food waste expert Brian Roe, and our own The Mayor of Bexley, Ben Kessler.
WASTED! The Story of Food Waste explores food waste’s contribution to the climate crisis and details methods to reduce waste at all levels of production. Trust us: once you learn how many years it takes a head of lettuce to break down in a landfill, your life will be changed.
Hosted by Green Bexley.
