Nevin Siders grew up in Columbus, when it was popularly called Cowtown, and was inspired by the Free Press since a copy circulated in his middle school in 1971 or ‘72. In the late 1970s he proudly cooked at Rosie’s vegetarian restaurant, where he made friends with noble persons who have matured into speaking truth to power. After having lived in Mexico City for three decades as a tenured professor of educational psychology at National University of Educational Sciences (UPN), he has now retired to the Mexican Caribbean, better known as the Mayan Riviera. Having respected the Free Press since his youth, since 2017 Nevin’s been living the dream of contributing articles to it.
