Looking for a way to be in the struggle against police violence? On Wednesday September 30th SURJ Ohio will be offering a training for those interested in getting involved in efforts to track the use of force of their local police departments. We will learn from a model built by the SURJ Northeast Ohio chapter, with which they have monitored use of force incidents by over 30 police departments for 4 years. You will leave the training with a concrete way to get work ending police brutality. Join us as we begin to build a network of people across the state who will collectively increase awareness of the pervasiveness of police violence everywhere. The information we gather and movement we build will be used in fights to defund the police, prisons, and jails, as well as redirecting money for resources that benefit our communities.  Register for the online event here
